This project was prepared for the competition “I Love Europe” organized by the European Commission in 2010…In my opinion, Europe means diversity. Various nationalities that have different cultures and different languages live in the same lands in harmony. This idea brings to my mind peacocks’ tails. Peacocks have colorful shapes that seem like an eye on their tails. Even the eyes consist of too many contrast colors there is a balance between them. So I wanted to show the balance and harmony of different colors, languages and cultures by using countries’ flag colors on peacock tail as an eye.
